Upon Receiving Your Home Test Kit:
1. Register & Consent
Register your kit at melixgx.com/register. Fill out Patient Consent Form, then detach from instruction sheet.
5. Deposit Swabs In Tube
Deposit Swabs In Tube Immediately after collecting cheek cells, place the swab back into the tube. Repeat steps 3-5 with all four swabs, then seal the tubes.
2. Wash Your Hands
Thoroughly wash and dry your hands so not to contaminate the contents of the test.
6. Replace Tube & Consent
Place both sealed tubes—cells collected—into the return box along with your completed & signed consent form.
3. Locate The Swabs
Fill out the fields on each tube, then remove the swabs from one of the tubes; they will be in pairs. Use caution not to contaminate the tips.
7. Seal & Ship Your Kit
Peel the strip and seal your pre-paid return box, then deposit it into your nearest outgoing mailbox.
4. Swab Your Cheek
With each swab, individually swab the inside of your cheek for 30 seconds while rotating to collect cells, not saliva.
8. Get Results
When testing is complete, you will receive an encrypted email from results@melixgx.com. Follow the link to access your personal report.
